Dave Taschuk founded Scan Tech Door Services in 2001, bringing his extensive experience in the door and hardware industry to the company. Following a short break, he saw an opportunity to restart his business in 2019. His decision was influenced by the closure of the installation division he managed at his previous company.
Dave began his career as a licensed locksmith in 1997 and quickly transitioned into door and hardware installations. His dedication to the field led him to become a qualified Door and Hardware Technician (DHT). This extensive knowledge of the industry, made reopening Scan Tech Door Services a natural choice.
Since its revival, the company has expanded its team and forged partnerships with various subcontractors. Scan Tech Door Services now offers installation and service work across Vancouver Island and beyond, serving a diverse clientele that includes construction companies, institutions, organizations, municipal governments, and businesses.
